Patient Right's Advocate
The Lassen County Patient's Rights Advocate can give information on the rights of consumers of mental health services and their families. This may involve explaining patient's rights, assisting with negotiating a solution to a problem, or representing a consumer in a hearing or in other disputes with the mental health system. They can also give information on involuntary treatment. The Patient's Rights Advocate also represents "expressed interest" as defined by the individual when informing them about their options. There is no charge for this service.
